The secretary at my school emailed me this pic! Ha ha ha I thought it was way cool! Anyway it has been a pretty crazy month of March! here is an email I sent out to some friends about all that went down!
Hi everyone just letting you know what has been going on with me lately. March has been a very crazy month! So I haven’t been feeling well for the past couple months and just figured I would just get over it eventually. Anyways on March 4th I went into urgent care because my throat was getting pretty bad. I waited there for an hour finally got into the doctor he saw me for maybe three minutes and said I just had the flu and maybe strep. He gave me amoxicillin for the infection and sent me on my way.

Well over the next few days I was getting continually worse so I called in sick to work Thursday and Friday but just could not shake it off. Anyway by Saturday I was feeling horrible and on top of it all had a massive sinus infection, so it was really hard to breathe. I called a nurse around 10:00 that night and she told me that I needed to get to the ER ASAP. So I went in and yet again waited for almost 2 hours before they got me in the room and then finally the doctor came in and ran some test. When they came back my liver count something or other was way too high and my white blood count was sky high, (obviously because my body was fighting some sort of infection), and they also said that I had a severe case of mono. So they hooked me up to an IV gave me some steroid shots and let me wait there for another 2 hours. I finally got out of there around 1:30AM still in pain but coming home with some nice pain pills ;)

Anyway so the week following was pretty much the worst week of my life! I don’t think I have ever been that sick in my life! I literally could not get out of bed! At the end of the week on Friday which was my 21st birthday I started to break out into a horrible rash all over my body. Kind of freaked me out so my mom called the pharmacist (not the doctor because well lets just say they caused the rash!) and he said that I needed to stop taking the amoxicillin or the pain medication. So that’s what did, but I was still curious so I googled mono patients and amoxicillin and in BIG HEADLINES it read DO NOT GIVE AMOXICILLIN TO MONO PATIENTS WILL GIVE RASH! So I clicked on the link and read all about how the stuff will give patients a rash they don’t know why but it has something to do with your body fighting off the infection. I had been taking this stuff for over a WEEK! So anyway my 21st birthday day was a rash of a time, I won’t forget it for the rest of my life!

Anyway I am thankful to say that I survived and back to work. I still get tired easily but it’s much better than it was! Through out all of this though it really made me realize how thankful I am for my health and for my wonderful job!

Hope all is well with everyone!
Jennifer

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
I was Cinderella and Melody was my fairy god mother!
Logan and his scone!
Logan and I went pumpkin picking at Brother Browns pumpkin patch. Logan had a lot of fun using his flash light to find his pumpkin. After picking the perfect pumpkin we went and had some famous brother Brown scones, he loved eating them around the campfire and listening to Vern strum his guitar.
ME and LUCY after church!

I have been having a ton of fun with my little niece Lucy! I have loved having Jon and Autumn living with us, I am always so excited to come home from work to see my little nephew and niece and Autumn. It has been lots of fun to have the house filled again! I love it.

Two more weeks!!!!

One week down two more to go! This past week flew by. Now its time for the nitty gritty finals..... ah! I am ready for it and can't wait to be in my warm bed back in Caldwell without any HOMEWORK!
This weekend Micheala and I went down to Utah to visit our good friend Malorie. (who's husband was out of town) Micheala's sister was preforming down at BYU and so I got Malorie all to myself on Saturday! We stayed up late and watched movies had our girl time that we haven't had in awhile it was so much fun! We ended up sleepin all day saturday! Saturday night we picked up Micheala and came back to Malorie's apartment to trim her hair. During the hair cut I decided that I wanted bangs. So Micheala cut me some bangs!!!!!! I think its going to take awhile to get used to but I think I will like them. I wish I could show you the pictures we took but anyway we had a blast and it was fun to be with the girls again.

Sunday night we arrived home just in time to watch the first presidency message. It was very uplifting and got me into the christmas spirit. After the broadcast my roommates and I strung popcorn for our little charlie brown tree. It was super fun and while some of us were in the living room stringing popcorn my other roommate Melissa was baking her famous sugar cookies. When the tree was all trimmed we all started frostin the cookies.
We bundled the cookies up on a tray and all headed outside in the freezing rexburg weather. We piled in the car and headed for the missionary apartments. Hopefully we brightened their day a little. After the delivery we came back to the apartment enjoyed a few cookies for ourselves and then read out of our Christmas book.

We concluded with a Christmas carol and family prayer. What a wonderful day it was. It was a really fun time to be with my roommates and enjoy their company. I am so excited for this Holiday season and the chance that we have to give and to share good cheer with all!

Anyway hope everyone has a great week!
